I keep this on my stove, it gives a nice decorative look. It's dishwasher safe and a bit darker red than my kitchen aide red theme I have going on.

This is a beautiful spoon rest and I loved it when I received it. BUT I ordered "burgundy" but the color was actually what I would call a rose...more of a pink color. I'm returning it and will reorder but this time I'll get "red."
